Capt. zack gibson

Hey guys, Zack Gibson here, thanks for checking out my website and guide service. I am a fully licensed and insured fishing guide that specializes in sight fishing to redfish in the shallow, clear waters of the Laguna Madre. Using experience and local knowledge, my goal is to provide a professional, safe, and fun filled day on the water. Whether you choose to hunt with a fly rod or conventional tackle is your choice!

YOUR TRIP

I fish out of North Padre Island, located 15 minutes from Downtown Corpus Christi, Port Aransas, and roughly 35 minutes from Rockport, TX. Most trips take place in the Upper Laguna Madre, from Baffin Bay, 9 mile hole, to the southern portion of the landcut. This remote area allows for seemingly untouched areas of vast, shallow sand and grass flats with little to no angling pressure.

Occasionally, we will fish out of Port Aransas or Corpus Christi. Please contact me for seasonal information and boat ramp/ meet up information and times as these can change seasonally.

I specialize in sightfishing out of an 18’ poling skiff. Whether you choose to hunt with a fly rod or spinning rod is your choice. Both fly and conventional tackle are provided.
